How PCRescue Works

Tools first. Clarity second. Help only if you want it.

Most computer “repair” starts with guesses. PCRescue does the opposite: run a fast diagnostic, get a report you can understand, then decide what to do next — DIY, a $29 review for prioritized clarity, or hands-on help if you want it.

Important: a high score means your PC is healthy — it can still feel slow. That’s why the report includes a few Performance Signals (like startup load, long uptime, and memory pressure).

No scare tactics Read-only checks No account required Clear next steps Healthy ≠ fast

Why this exists

People shouldn’t need an IT vocabulary to keep their devices working. The goal is simple: reduce stress, protect your data, and keep things running.

What we believe

Most “slow computer” issues are fixable — and many warnings are harmless. Good tech support separates real risk from noise.

Privacy baseline

The diagnostic is designed to run locally. We don’t need your life story — just enough signal to give you a clear plan.

The simple path

1

Run the diagnostic

Quick scan, local report. No install, no account.

2

Read your report

Health Score + clear sections (including Performance Signals if it feels slow).

3

Choose your next step

DIY with guidance links, or get the $29 review for a prioritized plan.

4

Get help only if you want

One-time help or a subscription — optional, never forced.

PCRescue is diagnostics-first. We start with facts, turn them into a calm plan, and then help you execute if you want us to. Sometimes the right answer is “do nothing.”

— PCRescue

What makes this different

  • Less mystery: you see what’s being checked and why
  • Less fear: calm explanations, not “your PC is doomed” language
  • Less friction: no accounts, no installs, no complicated steps
  • Better decisions: fix-now vs later vs ignore
  • Optional help: DIY or “do it for me,” your choice
What does “diagnostics-first” mean?

It means we don’t start by selling services. We start by measuring what matters, then we help you decide what to do. Sometimes the right answer really is “do nothing.”

What if my score is 100 but it still feels slow?

That usually means the basics are healthy (good news). “Slow” is often caused by everyday load — startup apps, long uptime, too many browser tabs, background syncing, or outdated software. Check the report’s Performance Signals, then use the linked guides or get the $29 review.

Safety + privacy (plain English)

  • The diagnostic is designed to be read-only.
  • It does not delete files or “optimize” settings.
  • It does not require a login or subscription.
  • We only ask for the report if it’s needed for your review.
Do you collect my personal files?

No. The goal is system health signals, not your personal content. If we ever ask for something, we’ll explain exactly why and what we need.

What will you ask me to send?

Usually just the HTML report the tool creates (and sometimes the JSON for extra detail). We’ll show you exactly where it is and how to send it safely.

Ready to try it?

Start with the free diagnostic. If the report is clear, great — follow the guidance links. If you want someone to translate it into a prioritized plan (especially when it feels slow but “looks fine”), that’s what the $29 review is for.
