PCRescue Kit goes out Monday, August 24th, to Members and the early-access list. Everyone else gets it September 1st.

Short version. You open it and it shows you your computer. Drive health. Memory. Disk space. What Windows has been doing without telling you. In the middle of the window is a Diagnose button.

Press it. It checks the machine and tells you what it found.

Then you fix things. Corrupt system files. Windows Update jammed. Print queue stuck. Startup junk. Wifi that will not come back. Defender switched off without you noticing. The things I get called about every week.

None of it is magic. Almost all of it is tools that already ship with Windows and that nobody touches, because they are buried six menus deep or they want a command prompt. The Kit puts them behind a button and shows you the command before it runs.

The download is free and stays free. Not a trial. No countdown. Over thirty fixes run without paying me. Install it, read every fix, read every command, spend nothing.

The license unlocks the rest. Over seventy fixes in all. $49, once. Not per year. Early access is $29. If you have a paid PCRescue Membership it is already yours. Updates for life, no renewal, no card on file.

It runs on Windows. There is no Mac version.

Why it took this long

I said early August. It is not early August.

The delay was a code-signing certificate. Windows warns people about software from an unidentified publisher, and it should. I was not going to ship an installer that put a scary box on your screen the first time you ran it. Getting a certificate means an authority verifies the business is real. That turned into a month of paperwork .

That is the whole story. No strategy. No manufactured anticipation. I could have shipped unsigned and let you click through a warning. I would rather be late.

Before Monday

Four days. Get on the list at pcrescue.me/kit. $29 instead of $49, and your link arrives Monday the 24th.

If you are already a paying Member, you do not need to do anything. Yours is free and it will be in your inbox.

If you wait, it is $49 and September 1st.

Tomorrow I will write up the first few things worth running, so you are not staring at a screen full of buttons on Monday.
